Toxigenic mold species — particularly Stachybotrys — appear in Makawao properties with histories of water damage or chronic moisture. They require full containment, PPE-equipped removal, and HEPA air scrubbing throughout the entire work period. Our Makawao black mold protocol starts with confirmed species identification through certified lab analysis — not a visual assumption.
After removal, every exposed surface in your Makawao property receives EPA-registered antimicrobial treatment specific to toxigenic species. The job closes with post-clearance air sampling and a written clearance report.
Remediation removes the active colony. Prevention keeps it from coming back — which in Makawao's climate requires addressing the moisture source directly.
